Most often in this line of work after installing my Custom Kitchens I seldom get to see them again. In this case I got very lucky. Not only do I get to see this Kitchen on a regular basis I get to drink wine & make merry with two of our closest friends on the planet Peter & Lorie Wright pictured above.
This particular Kitchen as a whole room concept is one of my all time favorites. That credit goes to Carolyn Vaillancourt of Vaillancourt
Design. Not sure if she would agree with me but I get a Mediterranean flavor every time I am in this room.
For socializing with friends it’s a delightful room.
The cabinets where kept to a simple Frame and flat panel with nicely matched panels for subtle glue lines. Note the cherry bull nose counter edge & matching dishwasher panels.
As a fine woodworker two things I always address are subtle glue lines and continuous grain throughout a run of drawer fronts as this photo displays. It takes very little effort for such great results.
When the dinning table light comes on I feel as if I am awash in a warm Mediterranean sea. Ok may be its just the wine & great company.
